High precision measurement of small components
By using telecentric lens, a camera system is detecting and inspecting multiple components on a transport carrier.
Measurement is carried out in production conditions without additional manipulation of the carrier or stoppage of the conveying system (real time inline inspection).
Part to part standard deviation of less than 1µm for an object of 8mm is achieved.
The field of view perpendicular to the conveying direction amounts to 125mm which can be extended. Since the images are captured continuously, the field of view parallel to the movement direction is not limited.
Inspection features include the measurement of surface structures as well as the detection of structural failures and/or contamination on the component surface.
An embedded data management system contains statistical short and long – term evaluation including customized interface connection.
